This is our building on School Street. You can see it's not very traditional and some people have mistaken it for a giant bungalow! It's the building where we gather but church isn't the building, it's the people. Thankfully, it's a vibrant place where we gather in different ways to share life together.

The best way to find out about us and what we are really like is to come along and play your part. There is plenty opportunities for you to use the gifts God has given you - some of those you may know about and others are yet to be discovered! We are a mix of people of all ages and backgrounds.
In terms of our governance, we have an elected leadership team who serve alongside our Minister as trustees. The team are accountable to the CBC Forum (traditionally known as 'The Church Meeting') where the whole congregation have the opportunity to help shape our vision and our values.
Safeguarding is important to us and our policy can be found via the link.
We are part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and are also active in supporting the work of the Yorkshire Baptist Association.
