Started in 1990, mainly music is a fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their young child/ren.
Throughout the session, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, maths and pre-reading skills as well as socialise with others. Each mainly music is associated with and is run by volunteers from a local church.
Children are introduced to music, creativity and more, plus families are given a chance to think about the God-part of life. Amazing to think that all of this can be achieved in a loving, shared family environment.
HOW MUCH FUN CAN YOU TAKE?
Every Tuesday, starting from the 3rd of May 2022. 9:30am -11:00am at Clayton Baptist Church there will be fun, interactive music sessions for young children (aged birth to pre-school) and their parents/ care givers. Come and join together for a 30 minute music session. The afterwards enjoy coffee, tea and calories (children are also given a snack and drink too!) All this in a relaxed setting.
Then enjoyed time to chat while the little ones have a time of unstructured play, something for everyone to enjoy and participate in together!
HOW TO REGISTER!
Each session is £3 per family, or you can pay ahead for 10 sessions and get two sessions FREE. Each family is asked to register at your first session you will receive your welcome pack, registration form and we will ensure that you are welcomed and made to feel at home straight away.

The best way to find out about us and what we are really like is to come along and play your part. There is plenty opportunities for you to use the gifts God has given you - some of those you may know about and others are yet to be discovered! We are a mix of people of all ages and backgrounds.
In terms of our governance, we have an elected leadership team who serve alongside our Minister as trustees. The team are accountable to the CBC Forum (traditionally known as 'The Church Meeting') where the whole congregation have the opportunity to help shape our vision and our values.

We are part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and are also active in supporting the work of the Yorkshire Baptist Association.
